Posted on Monday 6th July 2020

Health Information Week 2020:  6th to 12th July

Health-information-week

Health Information Week is a national, multi-sector campaign promoting high-quality information for patients and the public. The themes for this year have been refocused around the current Coronavirus crisis and are around finding information you can trust and wellbeing.

Every week day this week we will highlight a useful information resource that you and your patients can trust.

Day 1 Monday 6th July  -  NHSX launch Health and Care video library

Part of their COVID-19 response a national video library| has been developed with NHS clinicians to work within care pathways to help patients; to help support a reduction in length of appointments, and to enable patients to better understand their condition and how to manage their care at home.

NHSX has procured the video library of over 600 patient information videos on a 6 month license, to make it available free for users.  They are also hosting some free webinars for secondary, primary care and different specialties www.hci.digital/case-studies/nhsx-webinar-schedule/|
