Health Information Week Day 4

Posted on Thursday 9th July 2020

Health Information Week 2020:  6th to 12th July

Health-information-week

Health Information Week is a national, multi-sector campaign promoting high-quality information for patients and the public. The themes for this year have been refocused around the current Coronavirus crisis and are around finding information you can trust and wellbeing.

Every week day this week we will highlight a useful information resource that you and your patients can trust.

Day 4 Thursday 9th July  -  NHS website| (formerly NHS Choices)

This has been updated and improved and offers healthcare staff, patients and the public access to a wide range of patient information.  These include A-Z of different conditions and an A-Z of Medicines.  There is a Living Well section on keeping healthy, as well as up-to-date information and advice on COVID-19.  All the information is available in an accessible format and print friendly versions.

Contact library@ncic.nhs.uk| if you need help finding other patient information you can trust.
