Put your hand up and ask for help, stop what you’re doing, reflect, and do it a better way. We are all human and we make mistakes when we are tired or distracted. 'Human factors' is the study of the interaction between people and systems- to make things safer and more productive.
We are all human, not just clinical staff. We all need to be mindful of how we do things and make improvements where we can. Even small changes can make a big improvement.

  • During March think of any change you can make that will improve how you & your team work
  • New Books looking at   human factors in healthcare
  • Visit Google and see what comes up using human factors site: nhs.uk
