Want to learn something new?

Explore the free resources on offer during the Festival of Learning in June (previously known as Adult Learner’s week).

To support this national celebration of lifelong learning the Library has displays and electronic resources available to support your learning and development.

Browse the programme of events| for the following themed weeks in June:

4th-10th Career Development

11th – 17th Health and wellbeing

18th – 24th Visual

25th – 30th Apprenticeship


 Make a pledge to try something different or learn something new.

Your pledge can be work related or about something you’ve always wanted to try in your spare time.

Find a space on the pledge walls at the Library in Cumberland Infirmary and West Cumberland Hospital.

You can also make a pledge at Voreda and Carleton Clinic.
