Road

From the north and south
Cumberland Infirmary CarlisleTake the M6 exiting at junction 43 west onto the A69, sign posted Carlisle.

Follow the A595 through Carlisle and after crossing over a railway bridge take the right turn at the roundabout onto Newtown Road (B5307).

The hospital is on the right.

From the east
Follow the A69, sign posted Carlisle.

Follow the A595 through Carlisle and after crossing over a railway bridge take the right turn at the roundabout onto Newtown Road (B5307).

The hospital is on the right.

From the west
Follow either the B5307 or A595 then onto Newtown Road

Rail

Carlisle station is served by the West Coast mainline and cross country to Newcastle-upon-Tyne. There is a taxi rank outside the Carlisle Railway Station and a bus stop on English Street. The hospital is one and a quarter mile away.

Coach

From the Carlisle Bus Station you can then change to the bus service on Lowther Street to the Cumberland Infirmary. The hospital is one and a quarter mile away.

Bus

The 67 and 68 Stagecoach service runs to the entrance of the hospital around every 8 minutes.
